I get sick of these scum calling, so I gave him both barrels with as much foul and abusive racial and Islamaphobic language as I could muster. He was laughing his head off as I hung up !!! Pathetic low life.

Claims to be the technical department of BT. Woman can barely speak English. The number is not recognised. THIS IS A SCAM

asain lady ask was I with BT as hackers where getting in my comp.? Put the phone down as it was 1ock??

Had a call from this number today, Indian sounding named "daniel" saying he was from Windows and there was a probkwm with my windows account. I don't have a computer and if I did I wouldn't use my home phone as contact number. sounded like a busy call centre in background.

Someone saying they were from Microsoft been phoning from 7 in the morning

Silent call, rang, was silent for 5 seconds then a recorded voice said 'goodbye' and hung up.

Called this morning at 09:30 Asian voice claimed to be from Microsoft. I couldn't be bothered to keep them hanging on so just put the phone down. 1471 revealed their number. when dialled the number was not recognisable.

Asian sounding man called me this morning on my direct office line....which is always suspect for a start, saying he was from a Microsoft certified dealer from Paddington London...his words! He said that he had been instructed by Microsoft to contact all windows users and proceeded to ask me to press various keys. I played along but did nothing until I put him on hold and he promptly hung up. Very clever, whatever the scam is, as easy to believe the call was genuine...DO NOT BE FOOLED

Asian sounding lady told me i wzs due a refund of £190 for a service i had not used. These scammers have been calling me for years now. When i said i had no bank accountvthey said to set up a western union account. I reported this to western union. High time govetnment /bt did something to catch them.

Call from a guy today with an Indian accent called 'David'. Said he was from the BT technical department. I've had so many of these calls over the years that I just said 'I don't think you are.' To which I got the charming reply 'Well how do you know that, motherf****r?' Will the regulators EVER catch these people? I can deal with the calls (although, as I work from home, I do tend to get quite a few). But what about some of the older generation? The young and naive? People with mental health issues? These are the people who, it seems, will be most likely to fall for the scam. These fakers make me sick to the core.

Repetitive calling . A blatant scam to hack your bank account and encrypt your personal files which will then be held to ransom to unlock . Don't answer to this number it is a DANGEROUS scam . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!

Early morning call today (7.40) from this number. Call centre type noise in the background. A guy with a heavy Indian accent said his name was Richard Wilson (or something similar) and claimed to be from BT security dept; said that there had been unusual activity from my IP address, possibly hackers. He said they had frozen my internet access and asked me to Iog on now and he would help correct it. I told him he was a scammer and that I'd call BT myself later, and rang off.

7:50am this morning. Third call from this number in two days. Pain in the back side.

Call from this number today Asian woman in BT customer service department saying a fault had been found in broadband and phone connection . Told them I was not with BT hung up and blocked number.

Silence then ring off.

Call received from 01391735875. Scam call saying computer had been hacked. Claimed to be from bt. Mum answered call and said I would deal with it when I got home. Phoned bt and true to form the definitely a scam call

I contacted BT re cancelling and a few hours later received a call from this number. I didn't answer as I never answer numbers I don't recognise.

Called by Asian lady very insistent that I connected to internet on my laptop to correct errors asked for confirmation of who she was and she seemed to have information . I asked her to phone back later and I checked with BT and it is a scam

SCAM call. Time waster.

Called today (11:10am) saying there were error reports on my connection - accent indicated the caller was somewhere on the Indian sub-continent. Very insistant and rude. Assumed from the outset that this was a scam call, when I said that for me to ensure they are genuine. to use my e-mail contact details to confirm the fault they just hung up, coincidentally this call came shortly after I had called BT to query a letter that they had sent out to me regarding payment details. Don't co-operate with them in any way, they are obviously a bunch of fraudsters.

Redstart something???

Hung up without speaking when I rang back.

This is a ppi and bank charges nuisance call

This is a market research organisation hiding behind an ordinary number. Wants you to do a "short questionnaire". I avoid these at all costs...

Calling for my predecessor as it is a works mobile. Apparently AAB Legal. Gentleman polite when I said that the chap he asked for no longer works for the company and apologised for taking up my time. Usual 01392 971*** number that I regularly get calls from - didn't realise that Exeter had so many call centres :-)

called, but, as usual, left no message. Always wary of these.

I missed the call. When I rang back after checking this site the phone rang but then dropped the connection. I assume marketing call.

This number keeps calling me every day on a regular basis but no message left on answerphone. Anyone any idea who this might be please?

A company called "First Assist" - registered with Company's House as a "Financial Administration" company. Seems to be telemarketing.

Received several calls no messages left

No problem, just a bad line and don't know who it was who called

Pigs. Asked for some unknown individual and when I tried to explain that I didn't know this persoml they quite rudely hung up when I was mid sentence.

This number is no longer in use so who called me

A cold caller with an Asian accent from an accident 'help line'. Told him I've never had an accident and he hung up, without a further word.
